Jonathan Munro Jones
Jonathan Munro Jones, M.A. in Applied Linguistics, Concordia, has taught at primary, secondary, university and adult education levels. He has been a consultant at C.S. de l'Ile Perrot, C.S. de Vaudreuil and C.S. de Soulanges and has 20 years' experience in the MEQ ESL department, 16 as Co-ordinator of Curriculum. He has taught ESL methodology at McGill and been an adjunct professor at the Concordia TESL Centre. The winner of both a SPEAQ award and an AQETA award for outstanding contribution to helping children with learning disabilities, he has served a term as SPEAQ president. Other activities include writing language arts and ESL materials for Scholastic and ERPI. For leisure, he enjoys reading young-adult literature, collecting pens and Sherlock Holmes memorabilia, calligraphy, logging and skiing. He is the proud father of five.
