Gillian Baxter | Since earning a B.Ed. with distinction from Concordia University, Gillian Baxter has taught at primary, secondary and adult education levels for 13 years. Actively involved in many ESL dossiers at school and member of the school board Reform Implementation Committee, she also has ten years' experience at ERPI as author of primary and secondary materials. In her spare time, Gillian is an accomplished musician. She enjoys reading (particularly young-adult literature), writing, running, travelling and chasing after two young daughters. | | | 
Jonathan Munro Jones | Jonathan Munro Jones, M.A. in Applied Linguistics, Concordia, has taught at primary, secondary, university and adult education levels. He has been a consultant at C.S. de l'Ile Perrot, C.S. de Vaudreuil and C.S. de Soulanges and has 20 years' experience in the MEQ ESL department, 16 as Co-ordinator of Curriculum. He has taught ESL methodology at McGill and been an adjunct professor at the Concordia TESL Centre. The winner of both a SPEAQ award and an AQETA award for outstanding contribution to helping children with learning disabilities, he has served a term as SPEAQ president. Other activities include writing language arts and ESL materials for Scholastic and ERPI. For leisure, he enjoys reading young-adult literature, collecting pens and Sherlock Holmes memorabilia, calligraphy, logging and skiing. He is the proud father of five. |
